Emilie White is the President and Chief Operating Officer of The Relish Jar. Emilie’s leadership guides our team and keeps our focus on providing the highest value possible for our clients. Her attention to detail and positive attitude radiates through our office. When she isn’t trying to keep our merry band of misfits in line, Emilie enjoys traveling, good food, and spending time with friends. We are extremely lucky to have Emilie leading our team, and this month we put her in the spotlight so you can get to know her too!
What is the best part of your job?
The daily client interactions.
What’s a project that you worked on that really stands out to you? Why?
We recently did a rebrand for an investment firm and it was a complete name change, new logo, branding, etc. These are always a labor of love projects for us and for the client, it’s like naming a child. From initial discussion to seeing the new branding implemented on business cards, websites, etc. – its fun, extensive, exhausting, thrilling, and at the end of the day we are so proud of what we created for the client. And the best part is seeing how excited they are about it and how they can’t wait to get it out into the world… Hopefully soon!!
What are some of your hobbies outside of work?
I love to read, cook and travel (when I can).
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
You can do hard things – because you’ve already done hard things.
If you had to pick a song to portray the culture of The Relish Jar, what would it be and why?
Cheeseburger in Paradise by Jimmy Buffet The specific line in the song “Makin’ the best of every virtue and vice Worth every damn bit of sacrifice” – our agency is a little lettuce, a little tomato, Heinz 57, and some French fried potatoes. And of course a big kosher pickle… we are a group of so many talents that make up one delicious recipe for marketing success.
