Maggie Flowerree is the newest face at The Relish Jar. She started as our Executive Assistant last fall and quickly became a valued member of the team. She keeps our office running smoothly and keeps our team on task! We asked Maggie some questions so you can get to know her and see why she’s such a good fit with our team!
What is the best part of your job?
My job offers a huge opportunity for learning new things. Whether its a little dev work with Ben (definitely wont be adding professional developer to my resume anytime soon, though…) or new client conversations, I am never without an interesting task. Our client base offers a wide range of personalities and projects and with that comes new avenues to learn and grown. I’ve always appreciated new tasks to accomplish and The Relish Jar offers that in every aspect of my job.
What’s a project that you worked on that really stands out to you? Why?
We just helped create an internal photo contest for a client. From reviewing contest terms and conditions to assisting in the prize selection, there were so many different aspects to this project! I’m a big fan of event planning so being a part of something from start to finish was really satisfying.
What are some of your hobbies outside of work?
Spending time with my Husband, Sam, St. Louis Cardinal baseball, and reading. Lots of reading.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
It wasn’t really advice, per say. I was always surrounded by confident women growing up, whether it was my mom or aunts or family friends. I learned to be confident in myself. It really is the best lesson I could have learned. Being confident in myself makes everything else fall into place so much easier!
If you had to pick a song to portray the culture of The Relish Jar, what would it be and why?
We’re All in this Together from High School Musical. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t rely on one or more of The Relish Jar team for support.
